Booking and Conditions
WPWC have relaxed our Covid-19 requirements in line with the government’s ending of legal restrictions on 19th July 2021. By booking, you agree to follow these conditions:
- Please continue to use the booking system – the system is useful for members to co-ordinate their visits with others and provides a means of contact tracing if we were to need it
- The clubhouse isn’t regularly cleaned or disinfected, so you accept risks arising from this if you choose to enter
- Members should take personal responsibility for their actions, being mindful of infection risks to themselves and others at all times
- There is no social distancing requirement, or limit on numbers indoors, or outdoors
- Mask wearing primarily protects others. Wearing masks at the club is optional, but you may wish to consider wearing one if entering a confined space
- Please contact us if you have visited the club and then contract Covid 19
- Please continue to use hand sanitizer, or wash hands thoroughly, before/after touching door handles and similar
- Toilets, showers and changing rooms can be used without a limit on numbers. Be particularly mindful of infection risks if sharing these spaces with others. Or you can change outdoors, or in a vehicle and then shower at home
- The galley and club room seating can be used, though spending longer indoors increases infection risk
- Club kit can be used as normal
- The rescue boat may now be used if there is a qualified boat operator on site
