How to Join.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

We also welcome stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, windfoiling & wingfoiling.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly club - everyone is ready to help and to learn from each other. You're also welcome to 'try before you buy' - have a look at our Visitors & Day Sailing page then maybe come along and sample the atmosphere, the wind and the water!

If you'd like to know more please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Alternatively, please phone Darren - listed on the Contact Us page.

Please note : you'll need £2M third party insurance cover to sail at the club. This comes free as a part of RYA membership (£47 pa for windsurfing, windfoiling, wingfoiling & paddleboarding) and some activities may be included in household insurance too. Do check the small print on your policy though, or give the insurer a ring to make sure they don't class your chosen sport as a 'dangerous sport'. Insurers sometimes change their cover from year to year, so please don't take this point for granted. Alternatively, google windsurfing insurance and you'll probably get cover for about £26 or so. Sports such as windfoiling and wingfoiling will generally be in a higher risk category and £47 is probably the going rate.

We have temporarily withdrawn the option of paying by monthly Standing Orders, probably for the rest of 2022, due to Treasurer workload. Please contact our Membership Secretary if you'd like to join.

Membership is available from now until 31st March 2023. Click to download the New Member application form in MS Word or here for a pdf version.

Our application forms also have details of day sailing rates and of board storage.

Great time at Fleetwood. Just Eddie, me & a kitefoiler. Beach start, hook in, planing, straps, single reach 2 miles to Wyre light. Gybe, then back & repeat. So that was 8 miles in the 1st 20 minutes!

John L - 07/08/2022 - 07:34

Graham is coming too, so that’s at least 3 of us.

Eddie B - 06/08/2022 - 17:29
