How to Join.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

We pride ourselves on being a friendly club - everyone is ready to help and to learn from each other. You're also welcome to 'try before you buy' - have a look at our Visitors & Day Sailing page then maybe come along and sample the atmosphere, the wind and the water!

If you'd like to know more please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Alternatively, please phone Darren Kell - listed on the Contact Us page.

Please note : you'll need £2M third party insurance cover to sail at the club. This comes free as a part of RYA membership and is often included in household insurance too. Do check the small print on your policy though, or give the insurer a ring to make sure they don't class windsurfing as a 'dangerous sport'. Insurers sometimes change their cover from year to year, so please don't take this point for granted. Alternatively, google windsurfing insurance and you'll probably get cover for about £19 or so.

If you join part way through the year and opt to pay by monthly standing order we ask for a cheque to make your subs up to 12 x the monthly payment. For example, if you join in July we ask for a cheque for £30 (3 x £10/month for an individual) as well as the standing order payments.

Click to download the Membership application form in MS Word or here for a pdf version

Our application forms also have details of day sailing rates and of board storage.

Not put off, I'm coming up again this aft, seeing there's a space. Sundays not so pressured now.

Stephen Treasure - 24/05/2020 - 09:36

Dave, the scratches were not there before I left home. Not deep scratches, though, I have got some anti-scratch stuff; youtube makes it look easy to fix, will try my lmited skills

Chris P - 24/05/2020 - 08:36

Pleased to report no scratches on cars yesterday afternoon. It was super gusty! Hoping for a more controlled session this morning, heading up shortly.

paul n - 23/05/2020 - 15:27

Good shout that Dave, there is enough of us on Sunday to do the lookout thing.

davemonks - 23/05/2020 - 14:57
