Storm Malik

Only Darren and new member, Jack, braved the conditions when this named storm arrived. Xcweather said it would be Force 7 (33 mph), gusting all the way up to F9 (about 50 mph)! Having seen it, I wouldn't disagree. Three of us watched the action and contented ourselves that we'd made the right decision staying on the shore! Darren didn't pick his smallest sail, which made me wonder what the conditions would need to be for that to get wet?!!!

Our newly repaired anemometer (thanks Andy!) was under-recording a little, but that's just down to trees West and North West of the clubhouse just blocking a bit of the wind.
